ok, I'm taking a lot of heat for my top ten movies list being too artsy and pretentious. Here's my non-artsy top 10 list. The rules for the non-artsy list are
1. No foriegn films where americans have to read the script at the bottom of the screen
2. English,irish and australian accents apparently count as foriegn films to the people who don't like my artsy list
3. Movie has to either star or be directed by somebody who has starred in or directed a hit, which is further defined as a movie that grossed over 100 million dollars or won an oscar in a non-foriegn film category
4. Has to include at least one movie from a trilogy
5. Apparently anything made before 1970 is artsy, so only movies made in the last 35 years can be included
6. All depressing movies are artsy
