VOOM is an HD DVR "system": that is, you have a central server and any number of thin clients throughout your house. I'm pretty sure this setup is the future for home media. I'd love to see this commercially available. So, VOOM is from Ucentric (pronouced "you-centric"), which has been dark a long time.
