Your Personal Feed
Did you know that if you've created a user account on FeedBurner, you have your very own personal feed that we can use to communicate with you? No? Go to the "My Account" page and take a look at "Personal Feed Preferences". Rather than have you give us your email address, you can just subscribe to your personal feed and we'll use that as our primary communication channel.
You can select what feed format you'd like and whether or not you'd like your feed to be password protected with your FeedBurner id and password. You can also select if you'd like to receive periodic stats summary reports via your personal feed, but that's not hooked up quite yet -- we're still working on that. We also envision using this channel to let you know if your source feed is not accessible or isn't spitting out valid XML.
So go ahead and subscribe to your personal feed to keep up with what's going on with your account at FeedBurner.
A couple of questions for you all out there:
- Can you think of a snappier name than "Your Personal Feed"?
- What other information would you like to see in your feed?
If you have any ideas, please leave a comment here or use the feedback form. Thanks!
