Collaborative Stats Project
Richard MacManus, author of Read/Write Web, is organizing an interesting project to do some collaborative analysis of publishers' FeedBurner circulation statistics. Sounds like a great idea! In advance of having a real Web API for FeedBurner, we whipped up a couple of templates to help publishers with this effort. Richard has all of the details in his post if you'd like to participate.
Just to clarify for publishers, your participation in this project is totally voluntary: no one can access your feed's statistics except you. We at FeedBurner think it's a pretty interesting idea, so we've tagged our BQ stats at del.icio.us with the tag feedgrowth, and here's a chart of our circulation over time based upon this data:

As an aside, we at FeedBurner are not yet ready to announce a more expansive Web API, but REST assured that we're definitely looking at providing access to both our feed management capabilities and our feed transformation services. Stay tuned for additional announcements in this area.
