Publisher Buzz

I love the SmartFeed function that FeedBurner provides. When I give out my feed address, I know it'll be accessible from any browser, podcatcher, or news aggregator software. So everyone can tune in to the podcast. Much love for FeedBurner!" - Simon and the team at musiccanteen.com, the music download site for independent musicians 2/22/06

One Click Subscription for Podcasts

FeedBurner now makes it even easier to subscribe to podcasts. We're happy to announce support for the "One Click Subscription" mechanism agreed to by the ipodder-dev community. This important initiative represents a collaboration between publishers, service providers, and clients to make it easier for end-users to subscribe to podcasts and other rich media feeds.

To enable this feature for your feed, just select the "Browser-Friendly" service and we'll take care of the rest. For more details on how this feature works, please see "How does the One Click Subscription mechanism work?".

This is a great feature, I applaud you.

One thing though, will there be a history of who
subscribed to our podcast? Also will there be a running total we can see?

This brings up another very important question.
Why isn't there a directory of who is using Feedbuner so people who are looking for podcast can find us?

This is a great service but when we first sign up for it we are kind of invisible to the rest of the world. IF 'iTunes" is getting with the program why shouldn't Google.

Best regards
