Your Brand
Feeds and feed promotion have become a critical part of content distribution. Along with the growing awareness of syndication importance, more and more bloggers, podcasters, commercial publishers and marketers want to make sure their domain names are associated with their content, and that includes syndicated content within the feed.
Earlier this summer, we introduced a service for customers running their own servers who also have access to their domain name tables. We are relaunching this premium service with a new name, "MyBrand", along with self-signup instructions accessible through the My Account area of the application. MyBrand allows publishers to run their feeds through FeedBurner while retaining their domain names. It's the ultimate in transparency!
As we said about the service when we first launched it: "We now support the ability for partners to point their own domain at FeedBurner, so that the feed and all the related resources (stats tracking, ad spaces, XSL style sheets, everything) will have the partner's URL. This allows all FeedBurner partners to completely control their feeds, making FeedBurner as transparent as possible."
Despite not featuring this service on the site, it has been enormously popular. A number of publishers with highly subscribed feeds are already taking advantage of the service including Daily Kos and Search Engine Watch.
If you are interested in this service AND you run your own servers or have control of your domain name pointers (you'll need to ask your domain registrar about this), you can now sign up for MyBrand. The cost of this premium or "Pro" service is based on number of feeds you have:
- $2.99/month for up to 3 feeds
- $6.99/month for 4-9 feeds
- $13.99/month for 10 or more feeds
Additional FAQs can be found on the Web site and more technical-related FAQs are housed in our technical epicenter, the Support Forums.
In the spirit of overachieving, we will be rollling out more beneficial services before the end of the calendar year. Subscribe to this blog's feed to keep up on the latest.

To me this seems like something that should have been there from the start. Not something you should have had to go hunting for. This may in fact resolve the one thing that has been my biggest frustration with all of this. Keeping readers pointed at the feed I want them to use. I'll definitely be looking into this.
I am currently launched new blog Gadioc and after getting more knowledge about mybrand i will opt for this service
Cool. People like personalization...good to see a business model evolving too :)
Thanks for a great service.
I like this idea...I will probably sign up for it.
So will the RSS location at feedburner.com still work?
Paul -
Yes, your brand domain (feeds.yourdomain.com) and our domain (feeds.feedburner.com) are interchangeable.

FeedBurner
marvellous - another great service making good things possible.
Can it be anything.mydomain.com? Or does it have to be feeds.mydomain.com?
Brandon - your branded domain can be whatever you'd like it to be.
We signed up for the Mybrand option, and have set up the CNAME using our domain ( feeds.ourdomain.com) to point to feeds.feedburner.com) but notice that the source within the XML feeds are still using the feeds.feedburner.com URLs within them. Should they not automatically be using feeds.ourdomain.com ? Thanks
Good scene about time you guys did something like this. Does not really make a difference to me since im on blogger :D
