Yahoo Mail, fixed on my SE W800i - thanks Y! (updated)
update: no sooner did i post this, when someone from Yahoo! contacted me and said they would fix the issue! how is that for service! i didn't know anyone read this blog ;) i'm a special edge case... a non-carrier purchased phone on a depricated wireless network (AT&T Wireless). a rare gateway/phone combo, for sure. Anyway, thanks Yahoo! people for being responsive. Wow. I feel like Steve Rubel or something for stirring things up. self: welcome to the big leagues. cheek, meet tongue.
I currently forward a copy of every email I get to both Yahoo and Google's respective mail solutions. I'm currently using Y! Mail as my primary mail interface. I use this instead of GMail because I can make the FROM address my feedburner address instead of my Yahoo mail address and make the fact that I am using Y! as my email client pretty transparent , something I can't seem to do with Gmail.
However, I can't get the XHTML version of Y!Mail to work on my phone! My sidearm of late has been a Sony Ericsson W800i mostly because of its awesome camera and MP3 player, and I am operating on Cingular Blue (ne AT&T Wireless), but no matter how many times I login with the correct username and password, I get bounced back to the Y! login page. Bummer.
On the other hand, GMail Mobile and Google personal homepage both work great on the W800i!
What I wouldn't do for a 100% solution to anything.
