Binny's pretty much is the best liquor store in the Chicago area. And you gotta love their Ditka connection.

NFL Bandwagon - which team should you root for?
Even if your team is still in the playoffs, you must go through this great NFL branding exercise. oh, and you must have the volume on - the voiceover commentary has some real gems in there.
I came up Colts, which is a team I always kinda liked anyway, even though they play inside not. I'm not a big fan of indoor football.

Trucker SEO
Who says blogging isn't mainstream? I'm not getting AdSense ads here drving traffic to the Trucking Blog, which of course is a great blog about trucking, for truckers, with ads and other offers for truckers.
I know i'm a cheap click, so he probably is paying a .05 for the click from my blog, and can drive clicks on what are probably much higher paying AdSense ads on the trucking blog.
Smart.

Sweet. All the Scrubs barbershop quartet bits spliced into one.

Great comments on Amazon
Some of the reviews on Amazon are priceless. Many of them are really well written, and entertaining to boot. It's a key asset that Amazon has, and they know it. I gotta say, after reading these, i'm very tempted to buy this book to see what it's all about!
The greatest book about a serial killing lesbian ever!, December 1, 2004
Reviewer:
Mr. Cretin "down with everything" (NYC) - See all my reviewsOK first off - you should buy this book. Its great. It's kinda like listening to The Who at full volume while destroying a yuppie bar with a baseball bat. On really great trucker speed. It's that good.
If you like your books quick, dirty and LOUD then get a copy of How To Smash Everyone To Pieces. I defy anyone who has ever laughed at a John Waters movie, gotten drunk and made a fool of themselves at a party, lost a tooth and cant remember how or recieved a death threat from an ex-girlfriend / boyfriend NOT to LOVE this book. OK thats it. As you can tell, I liked the book.
and then there's this one:
IF SHAFT & SUPERFLY HAD A BABY, IT WOULD BE THIS BOOK, January 9, 2005
Reviewer:
NATHAN PRINCE "FUNK FANATIC" (NEW YORK, NY) - See all my reviews![]()
THIS BOOK RECIEVED 5 STARS FROM FROM ME FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS: (A): THERE IS A LOT OF NON-STOP ACTION IN THIS BOOK. THE ACTION IS SOMETIMES IN THE FORM OF GRATUITOUS VIOLENCE; (B): THE ACTION IS ALSO IN THE FORM OF GRAPHIC DEPICTIONS OF SEX (MOSTLY LESBIAN IN NATURE); AND (C): THERE ARE ALSO STRIPPING AND JAILHOUSE SHOWER SCENES, WHICH WILL RAISE YOUR CURLY HAIRS STRAIGHT UP. BUT MAINLY, IT'S A BOOK ABOUT A WOMAN WHO JUST HAPPENS TO BE MADLY IN LOVE WITH HER VERY OWN FLESH AND BLOOD SISTER. SO, IF YOU CAN GET PAST THESE ISSUES, YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF THOROUGHLY ENJOYING THIS LITERARY ROLLERCOASTER OF "SEX, DRUGS, AND ROCK & ROLL". ENJOY THE RIDE, BUT PLEASE, DO ME A FAVOR...AND FASTEN YOUR SEATBELTS...TIGHT!!!

this made it's way around the office today. it's a bit in bad taste, since la gazzetta doesn't seem to say much about the zidane/materazzi incident.
it didn't stop the spanish from trying to read lips, though.

sphere launches, pot growers rejoice

sphere launched yesterday. another entry in the blog search arena. let's hope this one can be real time and keep the spammers out.
the funny thing is, for the last two days, "marijuana growing" has been a hourly top search as well as a top search for the week. now i am going to write about it, causing many of you to click on the search for marijuana growing , and thus the vicious cycle begins anew.
and, yes, i clicked on "milf" too.

i was somehow targeted on wordreference.com with a google adsense BFA for this. funny.

Cheney Accidentally Shoots Fellow Hunter

during a recent stint in London, I had to convince some people that no, America was not like the tv show "24" - people don't jump out of black vans in NY brandishing AK-47s shooting up the place. the people on Jerry Springer aren't really the best slice of America we like to represent ourselves with either, but yes, at least half of America is willing to elect a certified moron, and a bigger joke of a Vice-President who look likes his ticker is about to give out at any given moment, allowing Denny Hastert, from my very own St. Charles, Il, the man who said they should have just let New Orleans stay forever buried below sea level, take office.
I can't wait for the jokes on this one!
