i didn't figure this out until i saw this from Sony Ericsson at CTIA, and i didn't know about it when i reviewed the S700i , but part of the design of the device was to be used for games in "Jacknife Mode" - that is where the device is half swiveled into an L shape, providing a built in game controller so you can play games two-handed (see below). smart! And it works well - it makes all the difference in usability when playing the sample games on the deivce such as the Super Real Tennis. SE was really pushing developers on developing for the Java 3D APIs that are on this and the K700 handsets - they showed some games that really look cool and actually usable in this mode.
