FeedBurner on Your Terms (Again)

There's been a lot of chatter lately about FeedBurner, which is fantastic. There have also been some misunderstandings about how a publisher can keep control over their feed. I think we at FeedBurner can be a lot clearer about this, but until that happens I would like to point people to an older post I made called "FeedBurner on Your Terms". Basically, it details four different ways to hold onto your feed:

  1. Use an HTTP temporary redirect
  2. Use a PURL
  3. Use partner domain mapping (now called "MyBrand")
  4. Embrace the burn

Since that post, we have also added our Feed Insurance capability, which has been chugging along since we announced it, ready to spring into action if it's ever needed. Hopefully, it will never be needed.
