Let's Play a Game

It's time to see how creative and thoughtful my readers are, and it's time to get rid of that damned Amazon.com recommendation that won't go away. I have created a two by two matrix that you can view right here! First person to correctly guess the four labels of the two axes (ie, upper y, lower y, right x, left x) and post those as a comment MIGHT get a copy of "The Da Vinci Code" from me. I say might because if you live someplace i don't feel like shipping the book, I'm not going to do it. Also, if you post the correct answer but then also say something stupid in your comment, i'm also not going to send it. Finally, i might just not get around to sending it. Lastly (that comes after finally), I might send it to somebody who posts an incorrect but funny comment. Basically, chances are pretty good there's no way you're going to get this book from me. I kind of like seeing how long amazon will recommend it to me. Ok, let's see what people come up with. I put it together myself, so i can no longer tell whether it's hard or easy. If it proves ridiculously hard after a day, i'll fill in more clues.

Have fun.

Note: there will be all manner of arguing with my placement of things on the matrix. you don't like it? make up your own games. Also, do i think i'm clever? you bet i do.

Yes, you can email me your guesses if you don't want to post them here as a comment. I'll be the arbiter of who got the answer right first.

ok, already have an incorrect guess via email. How nice to know people are reading this on sunday morning. No, the y labels are NOT "beautiful" at the top and "ugly" at the bottom. incorrect. and the X-axis is not "harder" at one end and "softer" on the other. All wrong. sorry. thanks for playing. Next.

The Y axis is something about love and the X axis is "causes pain" on the right and "doesn't cause pain" on the left.
