Well that didn't last long. Ditka's not going to run for Senator. One can't help but feel an entire host of embarassing future scenarios have been avoided. Then again, it was always fun when Jesse Ventura would appear on talk shows.
I think Democratic candidate Obama can start working on his 2008 fundraisers at this point. It will be fun to see who the Republicans throw out there at the last minute.
