I'm developing an aversion to Jennifer Connelly. If her next movie is House of Sand and Fog meets Requiem for a Dream, I'm going to have to jump out of the Jennifer Connelly boat. It's a nice boat, I liked it for a while. She's gorgeous and a very solid actress. I also like the fact that she seems to be a fairly normal person, of the Paul Newman good actor and normal person variety. I like that. But I no longer enjoy sitting down to watch a movie in which she stars, knowing that there is very little chance that anybody in the cast will make it through the movie without dying, suffering unimaginably, or becoming a crack whore. I mean seriously, how about light romantic comedy in which Jennifer is a florist who accidentally becomes president?! How about BladeRunner II, with jennifer connelly as the darryl hannah robot?
