We have had the Amazon Associate Service live for almost a month now, and we've observed some interesting results. The Amazon Web Services (AWS) engine that we use for matching can work very well in feeds about product reviews, books, movies, electronics, etc. where the Amazon engine can make relevant connections to product. Some of the connections made by the engine are amazingly on the mark. The engine often has a much harder time matching Amazon product to "ideas and concept" posts or general business discussions. This isn't too surprising, since it's hard to map consumer products to posts like "FeedBurner raises series A financing" (maybe the book "What Were They Thinking?" ).
If you've got a feed and it's not product focused but you're still looking for opportunities to monetize the feed, we will be rolling out other capabilities in the near term. Hopefully, we can get the right mix of offerings deployed so that there's a good solution or combination of solutions for publishers all along the content spectrum. As with all our services, use only the ones you want and ignore the others, or play around with different configurations of services until you get your feed set up the way you want it. There are no mandatory FeedBurner services.
As always, if you have specific thoughts about how we can improve the overall service, please shoot us an email: feedback AT feedburner DOT com.

Posted by: Arie at November 5, 2004 03:30 AMThe Amazon service is indeed still alive, and we're seeing Amazon links in a bunch of the feeds we normally test. Can you email us the url of the feed you're having problems with and we'll take a look immediately. Thanks.
Posted by: Dick at November 5, 2004 01:04 PMI am planning to include feedburner to my site http://www.123-homebiz.com. I want to add amazon associate ID and google adsense.
My question is I hope this is not against the rules of google adsense for google adsense publishers. I worry is google adsense may not cancel my account.
Also Can I add feedburner to my blog
http://123-homebiz.blogspot.com
and to my forum
http://123homebiz.netfreehost.com
Anybody has any idea

Hi ,
I have the same Kavita's question , can i put amazon ads with google adsense in same page ?
my site is http://www.books-download.com
Thanks
Posted by: Mohammed Elnahrawi at December 22, 2005 05:51 AMMohammed, you cannot do this through FeedBurner, no. We support the Google adsense for feeds program, but you can only run one program in a feed managed by us. To clarify, this is NOT the same question as kavita, because you CAN run google adsense for feeds AND attach your amazon associate id to any amazon links in your feed, you just can't use FeedBurner to run ads from both services.
