My power is out. You?
I can't think of anything better to do with the battery backup time I have left, so I guess I'll post to the world that the power is out in Park Ridge, IL. My whole street went completely dark about 15 minutes ago. The jets are still coming in and out of O'Hare (one or two this late at night, anyway) but that's about all I know.
Do I get full credit for breaking this story? Will doing so somehow get me Lollapalooza '07 tickets? Stay tuned.
(00:22 CST) UPDATE: The power is back on. Not nearly enough time elapsed for suitable drama to developer. My subwoofer did make sort of a farting noise as it came back online, however.
